About Our Founder, Joseph David, CPA, MST
Joe wanted to create an accounting firm to satisfy the exclusive needs of a business owner. From his own experience launching and growing his firm, he understood that many of the best tools used were frequently out of reach for startup businesses. By utilizing developing technology and combining that with years of accounting experience, Joe discovered that every small business could grow without the need to hire an in-house analytics team.
Joe has almost 30 years of experience in tax and financial services. After joining a mid-size CPA firm in Chicago consulting small business owners, he established his private practice in 1999. As a sole practitioner, Joe built a firm that served individuals, closely-held businesses, and not-for-profit entities.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from DePaul University and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Northern Illinois University. Joe is a licensed CPA in Illinois, and he is also a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Joe lives in Deerfield Illinois with his wife, two daughters, son, and dog. He is an enthusiastic follower of international soccer.
